What People Are Saying

“Amanda is a true ideator and collaborator. She is deeply thoughtful on what it means to be community-responsive focusing first on the needs, ideas, and cultures of communities. Through her years at RedLine, a Denver based art center, Amanda was a major voice in our effort to shift our work specifically at the intersection of art and social change. As partners in art, education and community engagement, we created greater access to the arts for BIPOC students, raised money for under-resourced schools and advocated art education to go beyond art making. Amanda engages a philosophy of community outreach that meets communities physically, mentally, and spiritually where they are. She honors each individual or community by listening and connecting with their lived experience and seeing their wisdom. Her approach is one of equity, creativity, and love. I love love working alongside Amanda, she holds space for so much possibility.” -Robin Gallite, Deputy Director, RedLine Contemporary Art Center
